Oh Deere!

We bought Chris a John Deere tractor and he rode it today for over two hours.

He looped around over and over again.

It was fairly cool in the shade (about 80F in sun) but I suited him up in a hat, long sleeves and pants. I wanted to protect him from the terrible mosquitos in our yard (I killed about 25 in the two hours we were outside).



Chris only slept for about a half hour today and has been talking about the tractor ever since he saw it yesterday (you can see how tired he is in this shot):

This video shows him after he mastered it at 2 miles per hour. He could steer, go around and through obstacles and only ran into stuff for fun.

Corned Beef!

My grandma makes really great corned beef. She made this batch with Kayleen and Stacy. This must have been in 2009. And I agree with Grandma, the juice/bread combination is the best.
